Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our clients' software applications. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, where your expertise will directly impact the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Perform thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, ensure functionality, and validate performance.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with QA leads and project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Monitoring the CI/CD pipelines for test execution.
• Experience with Docker and some of the DevOps practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in QA automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented concepts.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and test execution.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ISTQB or relevant certifications are a plus.
